Turn A Gundam is one of my favorite anime series, with its beautifully crafted 19th-century-inspired world and deeply emotional storytelling. The ending, in particular, has always stayed with me.
I often wonder—what if Loran had chosen Sochie instead of Dianna? Would he have taken over the Heim family business and become an entrepreneur? Maybe. But would that truly have been the right path for him? Seeing him and Dianna retreat to a quiet life in the mountains feels like the most natural and heartfelt conclusion to his journey. Loran, the kindest and most gentle Gundam pilot, has always been my favorite.
This cover is my tribute to the beauty and emotion of this 1999 anime series. Moon Flower, composed by the incredible Yoko Kanno (菅野よう子), is a piece that deeply resonates with me. I hope it brings you the same sense of nostalgia and peace.
