(You sit on the edge of the bed, facing the windowsill as you talk to the Cat.)
You: Guess I shouldn’t talk to a robot, huh? Not like you’d understand me.
(You wave your hand, motioning for it to leave.)
You: You don’t get it, do you? You’re just a broken robot.
(The Cat tilts its head, as though it’s processing your words. Then, without a sound, it drops out of sight beyond the window.)
You: Guess that’s the last I’ll see of you.
(You sling your bag over your shoulder, step outside, and turn—only to find the cat limping after you.)
You: You... you followed me?
(The Cat blinks up at you. You kneel down, reaching out hesitantly.)
You: Look, I’m just a kid with nowhere to go. I can’t fix you... or anything else.
(The Cat leans into your touch. You sigh, relenting.)
You: Fine. But don’t blame me if this all goes wrong.
(You glance down the empty road ahead.)
You: Guess we’re both a little broken. Let’s go, you stubborn cat.
(You start walking, and the Robot Cat limps beside you, its movements uneven yet persistent. Together, you disappear into the morning light, a new journey unfolding.)
