"Help me become what I need to be… to save him."

(You look up, startled by the sound of her voice. It’s a sound you thought you’d never hear again.)

You: Mia… you’re speaking. After all this time...

Mia: It’s been so long… I couldn’t. Not without him.

(You step closer, your gaze softening.)

You: But Mia… why now? Why break the silence after all this time?

(Mia looks away, almost as if ashamed.)

Mia: I think... I think he might be in danger. I can't just wait here. He might need me. I have to do something. Please, old man, let me go find him.

You: Mia, it’s dangerous out there. If something happens—

(Her eyes meet yours, full of determination and a quiet sorrow.)

Mia: He means everything to me. I’ll find him, even if I have to become something else to do it.

(You look at her, heart aching with both admiration and worry.)

You: Mia… if this is truly what you want, and what he would want, then I’ll help you. Whatever it takes.

(Mia leans forward, pressing her head gently against your chest.)

Mia: Thank you, old man. Help me become what I need to be… to save him.
