The fake Raf and commander-in-chief shake hands surrounded by applauding military personnel and media. One wears a suit, the other a uniform. Mood is formal and celebratory.
"Long live Raf! The Ace of the Republic!"

(Scene: Military Airbase. YOU step off your jet. The air buzzes with the sound of roaring applause and cheers from the crowd.)


Crowd: Long live Raf! The Ace of the Republic!


(Cameras flash as reporters clamor for your attention. You walk ahead of your squadron, shaking hands with the COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF.)


Commander-in-Chief: Another flawless victory, Raf.


You: Only doing my duty, sir.


Commander-in-Chief: (turning to the crowd) This is the man who keeps our skies safe! The pride of our Republic!


(The crowd erupts into thunderous cheers. You maintain a smile as you salute, then turn and walk toward the headquarters building.)


You: (to yourself) This is all a lie.
