You: How did I get here? This… this can’t be real!

Voice: But it is real. Welcome to your final resting place.

You: Who—who are you?

Voice: That’s irrelevant.

You: Why am I here? What did I do wrong?

Voice: Wrong? You didn’t do anything wrong. That’s precisely why you’re here—as planned.

You: There must be a way out!

Voice: Perhaps. But I won’t let you leave.

You: Why? Why are you doing this?

Voice: Because this is the plan.

You: I’ll find a way out!

Voice: It’s too late.

You: I’ll find a way out!

(The Voice falls silent, but the laughter lingers, echoing in the suffocating darkness as if the whale itself is laughing with it.)
