The Facility (Part 2)

"Run along, Raffy."

(The Hologram fades, its voice lingers in the air, a haunting echo.)

Voice: Run along, Raffy. Show us what you can do.

(Your fists tighten as the words cut deep. “Raffy”—a name from your childhood, spoken only by your father. You retreat into the shadows, your mind racing.)

(Outside, the distant hum of your jet calls you back. You climb aboard, settling into the cockpit.)

Kim (from the console): What did you find in there, Raf?

You: Everything. And nothing.

Kim: Do we run? Or fight?

You: We head south. Past the shield.

Kim: The Sacred Place?

You: You read my mind, Kim. Yes, the Sacred Place.

Kim: But it’s just a myth—

You: No. It’s real. It has to be. If we’re going to understand this, it’s there.

(The jet roars to life, cutting through the darkness as it vanishes into the unknown.)
