(Scene: YOU are underwater, training. A massive EAGLE hovers above.)

You:

Five years down here. No air, just water... and the Eagle waiting. But I’ve trained. When I surface, I’ll be ready.

(You glance upward at the Eagle’s looming shadow. You clench your fists.)

I can't stay here forever. I need air, but I’m not the same as when I dove in. I'm stronger now. Smarter. I know its weaknesses. If I time my strike right, I can even bring it down.

(With a final effort, you float to the surface, just beneath the air.)

It’s time!

(You burst from the water, gasping your first breath in years. For a mement, you feel invincible.)

I’ve made it. I'm—

(A massive shadow falls over you. The Eagle dives, faster than you imagined. Its talons grip you before you can react. You’re lifted from the ocean, helpless in its grasp as it soars high into vast, merciless sky.)
