The Creature: A Husband’s Worst Nightmare

(Scene: YOU lie in bed, a SHADOWY CREATURE nearing your smartphone.)

You: Stop right there!

Creature: (grinning) Your dirty little secrets are far too tempting to ignore.

You: Stop! Why can’t I move?

Creature: You've hidden them so well... all these years.

You: Stay away from my phone!

(Suddenly, you jerk awake, your WIFE holding your phone.)

You: (confused) Honey, why are you taking my phone?

Wife: (smiling) You yelled, “Just give me back my phone.”

(A wave of relief washes over you. But as she turns, a chilling thought strikes you, and your gaze lingers.)
