(Scene: YOU lie motionless on a hospital bed after an accident. You cannot see, hear, smell, taste, or feel.)

You: It’s quiet… too dark. Or is it loud? Or bright? I don’t even know anymore.

(You pause, searching for clarity.)

You: Where am I?

(You focus.)

You: A hospital. Yes. I’m in a hospital. But how do I know?

(You try to move, but your body remains limp.)

You: I can’t see. I can't hear. I can’t smell the sterilized air. I can’t feel anything. But I know. I know I’m on a hospital bed, and there are people around me—How?

(The DOCTOR speaks to someone nearby.)

Doctor: I’m sorry. There’s no hope.

You: No hope… He’s talking to my wife and kids… they’re here. I know they are. But how do I know?

(Suddenly, a VOICE echoes in your mind, calm and enigmatic.)

Voice: Yes. Why can you notice you’re in the hospital? Think about it.

You: Who’s there? Who are you?

Voice: I am you—more than you.

You: More than me? What does that mean?

Voice: You don’t need your eyes to see, or your ears to hear. You don’t need your body to know.

You: I don’t understand.

Voice: Yes, you do.

You: I do?

Voice: You’ve already noticed things no one told you. The doctor. Your family. Even the other patients. You sense them, don’t you?

You: I do…

Voice: That’s because you are awakening.

You: Awakening to what?

Voice: To the real you. The you that has always been more than your five senses or your body. The you that can reach beyond.

You: But what am I supposed to do?

Voice: That’s for you to figure out. The answers will come.

(You concentrate, your awareness expanding. Time and space dissolve.)

You: I can feel it’s midnight now.

Voice: Good. Now keep going.

(You focus deeper, your awareness stretching beyond the room, through the city, across oceans, and into something boundless. A sudden revelation strikes you.)

You: I’m… I’m not done yet.

Voice: No, you’re not.

(For the first time, you feel something—not with your body, but within. A profound joy surges through your soul, overwhelming every part of you.)
