A boy kneels on a game board holding a Mr. Monopoly's pants in a Victorian street. Mr. Monopoly wears a top hat and suit; a "STOP BEGGING" sign is visible.
"Sir, I’m hungry..."

(Scene: MR. MONOPOLY walks past a row of Rundown Houses, looking less-than-impressed. The TENANTS appear worried as he approaches.)

Tenant A: Please, sir! We can’t pay higher rent. It’s all we’ve got!

Tenant B: You’re already rich! Why squeeze us dry?

Mr. Monopoly: Business is business. Rent goes up—like it or not. Don’t be surprised when the next round hits!

(A SMALL BOY tugs at Mr. Monopoly's pants.)

Boy: Sir, I’m hungry...

Mr. Monopoly: No free lunches on the board, kid. You’ve got to earn it like everyone else.

Tenant B: He’s just a child!

Mr. Monopoly: And a lazy boy grows into a lazy man. Just like you two.

(A HUNGRY DOG whines nearby, its eyes pleading for food.)

Mr. Monopoly: Not happening.

(He tips his top hat, adjusts his monocle, and strides off without a second glance.)

Mr. Monopoly: Business calls—no time for pity.
