Hi, I'm Nick, the creator of Absolute Zero! Basketball. Welcome to my world of basketball and storytelling.

Absolute Zero! Basketball is a collection of 100 illustrations and 12 original tracks that chronicle the journey of Ray-Ray, a 13-year-old half-Filipino boy from Hong Kong, who fled his homeland with his family to start a new life in the U.K.

 

These 100 illustrations and 12 original tracks portray Ray-Ray's memories, challenges, triumphs, and growth as he embarks on a new life and pursues his dream of becoming a professional basketball player—first in Europe, and then on the global stage.

My goal for this project is to create a universally loved story that blends laughter and tears while celebrating basketball as a cultural phenomenon. At the same time, it is a personal tribute to Hong Kong.
 

Beyond Absolute Zero! Basketball, the blog on this website also features a variety of scripts, from basketball stories and sci-fi adventures to modern life tales, with some offering audio versions. Whether you're into sports, sci-fi, or simply enjoy a good story, there's something here for everyone.
